Ministry Development Scheme
We are looking looking to recruit people for our Ministry Development Scheme to help us fulfil our mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ in Nottingham, all nations and the next generation.
The Ministry Development Scheme aims to train men and women for a variety of senior staff roles in churches in the UK or overseas. Those on the scheme will become part of the staff team at Cornerstone and will be given significant ministry responsibilities throughout their time in the role.
For suitably qualified men, the scheme would be the equivalent of a Minister-in-Training post.
This role includes:
• Training on the Crosslands Seminary Course
• Responsibilities within ministries in the Church
• Developing teaching gifts
• Developing leadership and pastoral responsibilities
• Developing evangelism and missional gifts
The specific ministry areas covered will be decided based on the candidate’s gifts and prior experience, to be discussed at interview.
The nature and/or context of this role means that that there is an Occupational Requirement for the successful applicant to be a Christian in full agreement with the Confession of Faith of Cornerstone Church.
A satisfactory Disclosure Barring Service check will be required for the postholder prior to commencing these duties.
Hours – full time (40 hours per week, including Sundays) This is a 3 year appointment.
Salary – Salary scale starts from £20,852
