We re-visit the main themes of this wonderful grace-filled letter in our final sermon in this series. Paul knows that the way to win people for Jesus Christ is to win the cities. We follow his strategy, noting the key role of each of his co-workers.

Paul includes the Colossian Christians as co-workers with him in the Gospel. Through prayer and witness we are very much partners with Christians the world over. We don’t just share in Paul’s work but we partner with God as he desires to achieve his purposes on the earth through people like us.

We continue our summer series in Paul’s letter to the Colossians. In tonight’s passage Paul builds on his teaching that being 'in Christ' is key, not only to becoming a Christian but also in our continued growth. He also starts to show how this truth should affect our everyday lives.

In the third of our series on the book of Colossians we consider the source of Paul’s joy that kept him going in difficult times. We also challenge ourselves on how we might continue to grow in our faith and walk with Christ.

Paul explains to the believers what they already have in Christ. We go on to hear about Paul’s prayers for the early church, to grow and mature, and how we too can live lives of spiritual growth, pleasing our Lord in every way.

We begin our summer evening series with an introduction to the book of Colossians. We hear how Paul begins by giving believers a perspective upon life that helps us to navigate the challenges and opportunities of our circumstances, by knowing that we are always and unchangeably in Christ.
