Ministry Development Scheme - training men and women to serve the Church.
The Ministry Development Scheme seeks to train men and women for a variety of senior staff roles within the local church in the UK or overseas. Those on the scheme will be part of the staff team at Cornerstone and will be given significant ministry responsibilities throughout their time in the role.
For suitably qualified men, the scheme would be the equivalent of a Minister-in-Training post.
This role includes:
- Training on the Crosslands Seminary Course
- Developing teaching, evangelism and missional gifts
- Responsibilities within ministries in the church
- Developing leadership and pastoral responsibilities
The nature/context of this role means that there is an Occupational Requirement for the successful applicant to be a Christian in full agreement with the Confession of Faith of Cornerstone Church. A satisfactory Disclosure Barring Service check will be required for the postholder prior to commencing these duties.
We recruit to this scheme on a rolling basis, if you are interested in applying please contact us for a recruitment pack and details of the next round of interviews.
We would also welcome conversation from those who are not able to apply at this point, but may be interested in applying in future years.
We pray the scheme will be a significant investment in the future of the church locally and globally.
