...and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you. Genesis 12:3
Our mission flows from Christ's power, Christ's purposes and Christ's promise in Matthew 28:18-20 "Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
Vision
At Cornerstone we believe that the spread of the gospel leads to the planting of churches. We cannot reach everyone with the gospel of Jesus Christ from one location.
New congregations attract a higher percentage of people who value creativity, innovation and future orientation. Many of these men and women would never be attracted or compelled into significant ministry apart from the appearance of these new bodies...
When God called Abram to leave his country, his people and his father’s household for a land yet unknown, he was required to trust that though the cost was great, the reward was far greater. Abram was required to take a step of faith, the Lord would accomplish the rest. In the New Testament Abraham’s faith is held up to us as an example. The writer to the Hebrews tells us that Abraham was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God.
Because our hope is certain, we are looking forward to planting other churches like Cornerstone to the glory of God.
Our first plant
In June 2017 Cornerstone sent 80 adults and 45 children to plant to the west of Nottingham in Beeston. This is the first of our church plants, Redeemer Church Nottingham.
Redeemer Church

On 17th September 2017, Redeemer Church opened publicly at the Beeston Youth and Community Centre. Redeemer is led by Minister and Elder Pete Brown along with two other Elders, Jonathan Graham and Simon Lister. Redeemer became an independant church in September 2019 and we share a close partnership together.
If you would like to learn more about Redeemer Church you can visit at the website at redeemerchurch.org.uk
The Future
In the future we will, God willing, look to plant other churches in our city. We are also committing to raise up and train leaders for this purpose here at Castle Boulevard.
