COURSES: Christianity Explored

Overview | Easy Access | Discipleship Explored | Others

Christianity Explored is an informal course for people who'd like to investigate Christianity. It explores who Jesus was, what his aims were, and what it means to follow him. The whole series will be based around Marks Gospel (an account of Jesus' life in the New Testament part of the Bible). Each session will include a short 15 minute DVD talk designed to explain an aspect of Christian belief and to stimulate discussion. After which participants will have the chance to talk (in small table groups) through any questions which the talk raised. Each table group will have 2 mature Christians as leaders who will facilitate discussion and answer your questions.

There are Free course handouts and Bibles will be provided.

When?

The course runs concurrently with our main morning service - from 10.30am until 12.00noon in the Bluecoat Community Room, so you can join in the first half of our worship service at 10.30am and then leave for the hour long Christianity Explored session at 11am. All the usual crèche and children's activities will take place, leaving those who come free to concentrate on the message. The next Christianity Explored course will start on Sunday the 12th February 2012.

This is an excellent follow on course to Easy Access.

If you would like to sign up for the next course, please get in touch via the form on this page. Alternatively you can email office@cornerstoneuk.org.uk
